Concisely, Theta Tau is a professional engineering fraternity. It is the oldest and foremost fraternity for engineers.

Does Theta Tau haze?

No! Theta Tau has a strict no hazing policy.

Is Theta Tau coed?

Theta Tau is a coed fraternity. Both male and female members are welcome.


When is rush?

Rush week is held during the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester. Specific events/dates will be posted on the rush page when available.

What is rush?

During Rush week, we hold various events that give you an opportunity to meet and hang out with the brothers of Theta Tau. It also gives you a chance to learn more about our fraternity and to see what being a brother of Theta Tau is all about.

What are some benefits to being a brother?

There are many benefits to being a brother of Theta Tau. Some benefits include: getting the opportunity to meet others with similar interests, develop professionally, network with professionals, gain leadership experience, serve our community, and have fun!

Is being a member of Theta Tau time consuming?

It is mostly up to you how much time you put into Theta Tau. We strongly believe that the more time you invest as a member, the more you will get out of the experience. As a brother, you will have opportunities to be involved in committees, leadership positions, and more.

Can brothers be a part of other student organizations too?

Absolutely. Many brothers are involved in other student club and organizations such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, etc.
